JAVENTU
JAVENTU is a duo consisting of Jacob Gregersen and Vitus Denifl on saxophone, bass and percussion. Their music unfolds in a hybrid landscape of genre-blending, groove-oriented sound treasures. Their compositions move between Nordic jazz, chamber music and poetry – and into juicy, high-energy pieces inspired by West African styles, hip hop and jungle.
JAVENTU creates a sound of their own, deeply inspired by extensive travels in Senegal, Brazil and Mali, and by rich collaborations with musicians, dancers and artists across art forms.
Earlier the same day, JAVENTU will host two workshops for students from MGK-Ø and Frontsession – exploring movement and music.

DOROTTYA MÁTÉ DUO
Dorottya’s duo with Signe Jacobsen explores a cross-cultural sonic universe rooted in the Hungarian musical tradition. Drawing inspiration from contemporary jazz, improvisation, folk music, and experimental use of live electronics through effect pedals and synthesizers, the duo invites the audience into a truly unique soundscape.
Dorottya’s compositions are marked by intimacy, dreamlike atmospheres, and playful experimentation. Personal experiences, fragmented thoughts, and inner fantasies come to life through her poetic lyrics in both English and Hungarian.
