With a voice that carries both power and vulnerability, Hilal Kaya captivates her audience, taking them on a musical journey from Istanbul to Copenhagen.
Danish-Turkish vocalist Hilal Kaya masterfully blends traditional Turkish melodies with jazz, rock, world music, and afrobeats, giving her music a unique sound that transcends both culture and time.
Hilal has made her mark as a dynamic live performer and through her collaborations with Denmark's acclaimed supergroup Kalaha and Aarhus Jazz Orchestra. Together, they have created music that has been nominated for several jazz and roots awards. Her vocals bring a unique cultural twist to Kalaha's electronic and jazz-infused sound, capturing attention both in Denmark and internationally.
In September 2024, she released her debut single Perişan, which received great attention for its unique sound and emotional vocal delivery. Hilal plans to enter the studio in January 2025 to complete her upcoming album, which is expected to be released in 2026. Additionally, she is set to release her next single at the end of April 2025, generating significant anticipation among her fans.
Hilal gave her first performance at the Resonator Festival, where she impressed the audience with her powerful voice and charismatic stage presence. She then performed at P8 Jazz Sessions 2024, earning high praise for her unique genre fusion. Most recently, she took the stage at the VinterJazz Festival, where the concert was sold out and received overwhelming acclaim from both audiences and critics.

Guests with day passes have access on the same terms as SPOT guests and are therefore only guaranteed entry to all concerts at their own risk, ensuring to arrive well in advance before the concerts start.
